Kerri Griggs is the Founder and Managing Attorney of The Griggs Law Group, LLC. She advises corporate clients on various aspects of Business Immigration Law, including immigrant and non-immigrant visa options (H-1B, L-1A, L-1B, TN and B visas), Labor Certification Applications (the PERM process), I-140 Petitions, Investment Visa Options, Corporate Compliance, Maintenance of Immigration Status, and other compliance matters. She also represents corporate clients in appeals before the Administrative Appeals Office (AAO), responses to USCIS’ Requests for Evidence (RFEs), Notices of Intent to Deny (NOIDs), Notices of Intent to Revoke (NOIRs) and Labor (PERM) Audits. Attorney Griggs has established a track record of obtaining almost 100% approvals for complex Business Immigration Cases that receive RFEs, NOIDs, NOIRs and Audits. Attorney Griggs routinely prepares L-1 Visa Beneficiaries for Consular Interviews.

Attorney Griggs also practices Family-Based Immigration Law, helping individual clients file petitions for family members and obtain permanent residency, citizenship, employment authorization, waivers, immigration relief (DACA), humanitarian visas and (VAWA or U Visas). She also assists clients with consular processing. 

Attorney Griggs graduated cum laude from Yale University in 2003 with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Studies. She then went to Harvard Law School, where she obtained her J.D. in 2008. At Harvard, Ms. Griggs interned with Harvard’s Immigration and Refugee Clinic, and represented clients in filing VAWA and Asylum petitions. Attorney Griggs has volunteered with the ACLU and MALDEF on Immigrant Rights Advocacy, and has served as a volunteer with the Latin American Association on projects that benefit the immigrant community. 

Attorney Griggs is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), the Georgia Bar Association, Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys, and Harvard and Yale Clubs of Georgia.
