Socheat Chea has been practicing in his own firm in 1992. He is the past Chair of the Atlanta Chapter and Immigration Law Section of the State Bar of GA. Since 1998, he has been a faculty member for the ICLE seminars, and since 2000, he has been a speaker and moderator of national AILA seminars. He was named Georgia Super Lawyers for the year of 2007, 2008, 2009. His peers selected him as one of The Best Lawyers in America for 2009. Moreover, he has appeared on A&E Investigative Reports and on local newscasts, and several of his cases have appeared in national newspapers including The New York Times and The Washington Post.
